OUROUR HISTORY
As it usually hapens to new openings, we were faced with many challenges in the form of classrooms, Science and Technical equipments, Staffing and Playing field. however we were not undaunted by these challenges and the first graduates passed out in 1999 with a percentage pass of 83.
On 14th Febuary, 2004, we were struck with a disaster as we came to school to find that the JHS block had totally collapsed after a heavy downpour and storm. We had to fall on the local church for accommodation and a temporary structure which used to be the canteen was reconstructed for two classes while the final year students occupied the P6 classroom and the P6 pupils moved to the church house.

Despite the handicap the school excelled in both academic and sporting activities. In the field of academia we have produced people who have excelled in various aspect of lives. Some Educationist, Lecturers, Pastors, Bankers, Architects etc.
The School had recorded 100% since 2005 and all its candidates place into Senior High Schools. It is the only school whic has recorded 100% since the inception of Amansie Central District.
Curently the school has the highest population in the district( 278 pupils) with 13 teachers.
The Seventh-day Adventist Junior High School( SDA JHS) was officially opened on 24th September, 1996. It was among the three(3) new Junior High Schools established that year to reduce the burden on the only Junior Secondary ie the D/A Experimental JSS which had four streams. The three Junior High Schools were Methodist, Roman Catholic and SDA Schools. This was also aimed at bringing healthy competition among the Schools especially academic competition.
The SDA Junior High School began with an enrolment of 45 pupils made up of 30 boys and 15 girls. Three permanent teachers namely Elder Osei Asibey Poku, Mr. Seth Agbesi Vondee and the late Mr. Kwaku Omono Asamoah with Eldder Osei Asibey Poku as the first Headmaster were the first members of Staff posted there to man the school.
Two other teachers were posted to beef up the staff and these were Hon. Stephen Kwame Kwakye and Mr. Henry Afriyie.
Our activities are not limited to the field of academics alone and we sometimes do communitity service. Notable among these is the clean up exercise conducted by the school at the St. Peters Hospital our next door neighbours after conducting a Yuoth Week of Prayer and donated items like sugar, bread, beverages and toileteries to the patients.
